What is a person of worth? When is someone’s story worth telling? How much of a person’s own stories happened as told? Which parts of these stories draw from personal as opposed to collective memory? These are just a few of the many questions explored in Messing with memories. The narrative is drawn from stories written and told by several people who are part of my family tree and is filled with recollections that sometimes blur the line between fact and fiction.
